Tracey Blount works for Los Angeles County Counsel's Office. She is an attorney with over 20 years of experience, including 12 years of daily courtroom appearances as trial counsel handling child abuse and neglect cases that involved child death, broken bone/serious physical abuse, complicated family law/abuse and neglect cases, sexual abuse, legal guardianship, and sensitive (media/celebrity) cases. Tracey also handles Dependency appeals and has served on numerous committees.

She began her career as a paralegal with Los Angeles County Counsel's Office in the Sheriff's Legal Advisory Unit and the Juvenile Dependency Division. Tracey has also worked as an attorney handling criminal appeals for the San Bernardino DA's Office.

Tracey Blount was raised in the Altadena/Pasadena area. She attended UC Berkeley and received her Juris Doctor Degree (JD) from the University of La Verne College of Law. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2003.

Tracey is the proud mother of two adult daughters.
